The Mansfield/Richland County Public Library takes materials and programs into the community to serve those unable to come to the Library.
MRCPL Outreach staff brings curated library materials (large print books, audiobooks, CDs, and DVDs) to senior living facilities on a monthly basis for residents to check out. Call 419-522-2780 for more information on Lobby Stops.
Library staff will provide programs regarding library services, resources, or materials for groups of all ages. Story times at child care centers, programs at assisted living centers, early literacy training for parents and teachers, or book talks for students are some of the programs available. Call 419-521-3101 for information on programs.
Customers who are unable to leave their homes due to physical limitations and who have no means of obtaining Library materials through family members or friends may be eligible for our Books By Mail Program. Books, audiobooks, CDs, DVDs, and other materials will be mailed every six weeks to those who qualify. For information on Books By Mail call 419.522.3001.
Our staff will set up an information booth about Library services and materials related to the occasion at local events including health fairs, festivals, and meetings. Contact the Community Engagement Coordinator at 419-521-3101 to arrange for a program or event.
