Find new cookbooks and go to classics, print and e-magazines, e-books, food series on DVD or digital, and more!  We have also gathered some fun and informative web resources that will help inspire your next great meal. Ohio Digital Library  – Check out ebooks, eaudiobooks, movies and music with the Ohio Digital Library. Click here to search Ohio Digital Library under the topic Cooking & Food. Also check out a variety of great food magazines in digital format such as Allrecipes, Cook’s Country, Bon Appetit and more!

Hoopla – Hoopla has a big selection of E-cookbooks that are immediately available for checkout. You can also watch movies, TV Shows and listen to audiobooks with Hoopla. 

Kanopy – Watch independent films, documentaries and instructional films. Try searching Kanopy under the topic Food Technology.

Recommended Library Databases

AtoZ World Food – Contains traditional recipes for 174 countries covering all course categories: appetizers, soups, salads, bread, main courses, side dishes, desserts, and beverages. Also covers food culture for 174 countries of the world in six categories: National Cuisine, Regional Cuisine, Daily Meals, Dining Etiquette, Special Occasion Foods, and Food Trivia.

Culture Grams – Information about U.S. states and the countries of the world, including history, customs, recipes, maps, and more.

Hobbies and Crafts Reference Center – This site offers detailed how-to instructions and creative ideas to meet the interests of virtually every hobby enthusiast. Full text is provided from leading hobby and craft magazines. Content includes full text for nearly 2,000 magazines and books, more than 720 videos, more than 180 hobby profiles, and more than 10,000 recipes.
