READ THIS NOW: CANDOR

…I’ll be honest with you, Bits and Bramblers. This book was great, but it…well, it sorta/kinda freaked me out a little bit. Candor, by Pam Bachorz, is all about Oscar Banks. He lives in Candor, Florida—a town founded by his father. It’s full of white picket fences and perfectly manicured lawns. Everyone gets good grades, plays chess, and plans on going to an Ivy League college.

So…clearly, something is not right about Candor. And what’s not right about Candor freaked me out but good. Especially the ending, which was sad. And creepy. But somehow still awesome.

I’m not kidding…this is one you have to read to believe. So check out our book trailer, then head to the library and READ CANDOR NOW! (It’ll knock 249 pages off that 1,000 page total! You’re like, at least halfway to your $8 Target Gift card by now, right? If not…there’s still time to sign up for the Teen Summer Library Program!)
