Million Minute Family Challenge
Is Your Family Ready for a Challenge?
November is the month when families can get together, people can give thanks, and anyone can dust off their closet full of board games. That’s right! In addition to celebrating Thanksgiving, we all should be ready and willing to help celebrate the Million Minute Family Challenge.
All you do is play non-electronic board games together, and then you can log your minutes played onto the website www.millionminute.com so that your minutes can be added to other families, groups, and organizations with the ultimate goal of reaching one million minutes.
Check with your local Cub or Girl Scout troop, your neighborhood elementary school, or a church group to see if they would sponsor a gathering. Set up is easy—provide a place to play, have some snacks on hand, and just bring out those games—so let the fun begin!
