You know how movies have trailers – those one to three minute clips that movie production companies put together to get you excited for the full – length feature? Personally, I love movie trailers, even if the trailer winds up being better than the movie!
But did you know that many books, including children’s books, have trailers too? Book trailers have been very popular in the last few years with YA (Young Adult) fiction, and children’s publishers and authors have since caught on to this trend.
We thought it would be fun to show you some of our favorite trailers for children’s books. You’ll find trailers for an array of children’s titles below – but be assured all are highly enjoyable and some of them are pretty funny! The link below each trailer will take you to the catalog entry for that book, just in case you are inspired to snag your own copy from our shelves.
