Our Teen Services Associates are energetic, flexible and supportive, and enjoy interacting with teens and their families. The ideal candidate will have experience working with youth, be creative team members, and have a strong understanding of the interests of this age demographic in order to present age-appropriate and engaging programs and services. Our Branch Clerks love helping library customers and are excellent multitaskers, able to shift focus between many tasks throughout the day. Branch Clerks need strong customer service skills, sound judgment, common sense, and creative problem-solving skills. We are looking for a strong communicator with good computer skills. You will spend the day managing the flow of materials in and out of the library building and meeting a wide variety of customer needs. Read more here.
Our Custodians are here early to prepare the Main Library for the day. We are looking for people who enjoy seeing things clean and tidy and want to be active in their job. The custodial team works around the building independently, making sure the various tasks are completed in a timely manner and that the building is ready for our customers each day. Because of the early morning schedule, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a supplemental income. Read more here.
